Habrotrocha vernadskii; whirling, dosal view. Focus plane is on the upper lip with a notch, which divides the tip into two tiny lobes.
Habrotrocha vernadskii; contracted specimen. In contrast to Habrotrocha antarctica the integument of this species is granulated.
